Moyo Asia: Ditch that suit of yours and start dressing unconventionally
It is often an assumption that we all need a power suit for work. Ditch that suit of yours and start dressing unconventionally as it’ll be easier for you to be dressed in a more versatile outfit so that heading out after work wouldn’t mean that you’d have to change out of your outfit again.
A conservative yet stylish top can be paired with a skinny formal pants or a body-conformed pencil skirt, layered with a patterned bolero and a pair of neon heels. This combination would be both perfect for work and play, with the option of either layering a funkier bolero for the after-work party, or just take it off.
Black and whites used to be the primary colors of formality but I say if you’re more experimental, you should opt for neon and rainbow hues to spice up your day at the office. A little colors wouldn’t kill, aye!
